How it works

From a Charity's position
- Charity registers an account on the website (absolutely free!)
- Charity's official status is verified through a check with the relevant charities commission
- Charity adds all relevant details of an event in to the 'Create event' template
- Charity publishes the event on the website
- Charity contacts its database of supporters to announce the event
- Charity invites businesses to consider on-line sponsorship of the event via the website
- We, the website team, invite additional businesses to become event Sponsors
- Charity supporters view the details of the event on the website
- Supporters register accounts (for free!) and book places at the event via the on-line booking service
- Once payment is confirmed the supporters are emailed 'E-Tickets'
- The E-Tickets contain unique booking reference numbers
- Supporter arrives at the event with the E-ticket and validates the booking by registering the reference number
- Supporter participates or spectates at the event depending on their booking classification
- Money collected via the booking service is paid to the charity by the website team
- Any Business Sponsorship 'top-ups' are also paid to the charity by the website team
- A detailed breakdown of the event, including the supporters and the amounts paid, is sent to the charity

From a Registered Site Member's position
- Individual registers an account - for free!
- Registered site member contacts a chosen charity member via the 'Suggest event' template
- Site member completes the 'Suggest event' template
- The template
includes all the details of the event the site member wishes to manage on behalf of the charity
- Site member 'clicks to send' the suggested event direct to the nominated charity via the website
- Charity is automatically notified of the suggested event
- Charity views the details and then publishes the event on the website
- Individual supporter managing the event invites local businesses to consider on-line sponsorship of the event via the website
- The website team invite additional businesses to become event sponsors
- Charity contacts its supporter database to announce the event
- Site member managing the event invites his/her contacts to consider supporting the event
- Places at the event are booked on-line and E-Tickets are despatched
- Supporters attend the event and register using their E-Ticket
- Money collected via the booking service is paid direct to the charity by the website team
- Any Business Sponsorship 'top-ups' are also paid direct to the charity by the website team
- A detailed breakdown of the event, including the supporters and the amounts paid, is sent to the charity

From a Business Sponsor's perspective
- Businesses are invited to join the website by charities, Individual members, and us (the website team)
- Business registers an account on the website - for free!
- Business is presented with two sponsorship options: 'Event' and 'Individual'
- Business views an event and views the sponsorship rates both for the event and the individuals
- Business selects chosen level of sponsorship
- Business completes the payment process on-line
- Once payment is confirmed the business is listed as a relevant sponsor and it's logo is displayed
- As an 'Event sponsor' the business logo is displayed on the event page and on the charity's profile page
- When sponsoring an individual the business logo is tagged to that individual and displayed accordingly
- Sponsorship of individuals delivers our unique 'Intelligent Advertising' service between the business and the individual
